Marut Map is a prototype website for mapping greenhouse gas emissions. This map utilizes Leaflet GIS software in connection with emissions data accessed via API. In future development, this website will include data for more emissions types, realtime information, and granularity beyond the country and state level. In Hinduism, the Maruts are storm deities and sons of Rudra and Prisni. The primary sources of data for this website include the World Bank, Energy Information Administration, and National Institute of Health. Read the concept paper here.
